Taylor began recording ASMR on her cell phone before uploading the videos on YouTube. Soon after reaching 50,000 subscribers, within a month of the upload of her first video she appeared in a gaming video by PewDiePie. After two months, she had reached 100,000 subscribers, Taylor had stopped making videos for her Youtube channel and placed the entire content on private. This was primarily due to technical issues with new equipment and being overwhelmed by the popularity of her channel. After August 2022, and having a hiatus of couple of months, Taylor started making videos such as the ASMR 10 triggers for sleep (35 million hits). In July 2017, she released another video that was viewed by millions, ASMR 20 Triggers To Help to sleep (38 million views at the month of August, 2022). She appeared in August 2017 interview in the Shane Dawson videoand shortly after she reached one million viewers on YouTube. Wired UK reported that in February 2019 she earned $1000 per day from advertising on her YouTube channel.

Dennis Helfer is a Canadian farmer, and Elaine Helfer, a Canadian woman was her mother. Her birthplace was in Alberta, Donalda Canada. The parents of her are Elaine and Dennis Helfer. She went to in the William E. Hay Composite High School situated in Stettler (Alberta). She lived and worked on the family's farm alongside her three sisters: Trena, Tammy and Tara. While standing in a queue at the theatre an scout from a modeling agency was able to spot Helfer.
